Christmas Birthday

As part of the Birthday Club, Sam comes in once a year on his birthday for his photo shoot. This year we chose to do more traditional photos on the Christmas Background and we were sure to display how big Sam has gotten. We can’t wait to see you again next year because we always have fun when the McFarland’s are here!

Roof! Roof!

It’s not often we get to photograph pets by themselves, but when we do we LOVE it! Usually animals come in with their owners for photos but it’s so much fun to shoot them alone. Moose, the French Bull Dog is a sweet and kind of lazy dog. It took him a few shots to warm up to the camera but once he got comfortable he posed like a pro and he loved to be rubbed. We hope he comes back to see us one day and maybe he’ll bring his owner or puppies with him!

Already 1 Year Old!

We can't believe that Brendon is already 1 year. He has been such a great guy from the start and we are very excited to take his photo for years to come. He is such a smart little guy that we are pretty sure he knows exactly what we are talking about. Have you ever had a 1 year old put his hands in his lap when asked? We were amazed! Thanks for being such a joy to work with Brendon.

Growing-one toy at a time

Chase has been coming to our studio for year's on his birthday. We love watching all the kids grow each year and we think Chase just keeps getting better and better each time. We love when he brings his favorite toys too...like Pete the Penguin!

Baby Santa

The holidays are here and Christmas is right around the corner! We were lucky enough for Baby Santa aka Grant to stop by the studio for a few shots. We were excited Lisa brought her two dogs back again for Christmas photos but this time she brought Matthew and Grant with her. By the end of the session Grant was filled with holiday spirit and was nothing but smiles! Can't wait to see you again next year!

Fairytale Party

Nina will be 5 in a few days and she was such a princess today during her photo session. She smiled for every photo and even tried some of her own poses in a few shots. We know she is going to have a great time at her Tinkerbell party, she even has wings to wear! Mom and dad looked on as we took perfect images of their perfect little girl that is growing up so fast! Next stop driving:) This session was Nina's best as long as we have known her and I'm sure they are only going to keep getting better. She is making it tough for mom and dad to pick out the best photos.

Baby Dean

After we did Kevin and Vanessa's wedding we knew they were going to have a family soon. Baby Dean is a great addition to this wonderful couple. After a few minutes of getting used to the studio Dean was great to work with and we got some wonderful shots. We know Vanessa and Kevin were not sure we got anything, but the proofs speak for themselves. You can just see the love these two have for their new baby boy! Good luck with everything and we are very excited to take photos of Dean as he grows up!

Family in Fall

Adrienne and Charlie are some of our favorite people to see, especially when they bring Jack! He is such a great kid. All we have to do is find something he likes to do and he smiles the whole time. We played in the leaves, swung from mommy and daddy's hands and climbed a tree. I bet he was tired when he got home....wait who are we kidding he's a kid! I bet Adrienne and Charlie were ready for a nap:) Thanks for having fun outside with us.

Tracy and Matt

Stop and put your hands where I can see them! These are words that I bet Tracy and Matt use all the time at work...and maybe at home to:) They are both officers and it was great to spend the afternoon with them because my husband is also an officer. It is fun to get out and relax away from all the crazy stuff at work and just play in the leaves. We all had such a good time outside and I know their wedding is going to be filled with love!

Chris and Stacy

It has been awhile since we have had a chance to sit down and write, but even though October was a rainy month we too lots of photos. I am so excited to be doing the wedding of Chris and Stacy. Chris and I are extended cousins and I am so happy to add Stacy to the family. I can see that they are perfect for each other (she keeps him straight). They have so much fun together and laugh about everything. Their wedding day is going to be amazing - Congrats!

Chrissie and Scott are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They just go with the flow and enjoyed every minute of the wedding. We were all amazed at the wonderful day they had despite the rain all week. We had a great time driving around St. Louis taking photos. I am very happy that we could be a part of this special day.

Chris and Brandy October 3, 2009

Two people couldn't be more fun! Chris and Brandy wanted to have fun at their wedding and I would find it very hard for them not to because they are such great people. We literally ran all over the winery and got some amazing photos. When they came in to pick up their proofs they were constantly laughing at all the crazy images from the wedding party. I'm glad they enjoyed the proofs and have no idea how they are going to pick out the best!
