Oh....Hunter

We just love when Erin brings in the kids because she is always willing to try anything or has some great ideas of her own! How funny (for us) will it be when Hunter is a teenager and mom brings out his 1yr photos in his birthday suit with his birthday hat! Even though Hunter made us work hard for these photos we got some great stuff. I just can't stop smiling when I see these photos:)

Summer Lovin'

Such a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding. Meredith and Daniel had to deal with a bit of wind on Friday, but otherwise the day was perfect. There was plenty of time scheduled to go around the golf course and take pictures! And we took LOTS!!! We couldn't help ourselves with such a great day and a great couple. Emily even got to drive a golf cart for the first time and we arrived at the reception safely! I knew after the engagement sitting that their wedding was going to be wonderful...I was right.

In the Family

We knew that Jenn and Matt's wedding was going to be great. I had met them last year at her sisters wedding and was very happy the picked us to do hers as well. She is such a great person and we are excited she will be working at St. Ambrose since we do the school pictures there. We will get to see lots more of Jenn! She told me during our phone meeting before the wedding that if it was over 90 degrees she didn't want outdoor photos. I said this was quite possible due to the wedding being in July...boy were we wrong! A high of 80 with a cool breeze, it was amazing! You got very lucky Jenn and have the outdoor photos to prove it.

Guitar Hero

When Stephanie came in with her guitar I was so excited. I told her how I tried to play the guitar in grade school and a bit in high school, but I never kept up with it. I wish I had because I really admire people that can play instruments. I guess if you consider a camera one then I am set! Stephanie congrats for keeping up with your guitar playing and I'm sure I will see you at some event at school.

In The Wild

I was sooo excited when Wylie went for my idea to use the flowers in studio because it unknowingly started a “jungle like” theme for her senior session. We both got really excited to use the cheetah print stool because it rarely gets used…..I think she is the 1st senior I’ve shot to use it. (Whoop! Whoop!)
After the studio we traveled to the Muny in Forest Park where she climbed in between beautiful wild flowers……which captured the essence of the day! Thanks Wylie for going ‘wild’ with me!

The Girl Next Door

My neighbor, Olivia, is a senior. First of all that is strange since when I moved in she was in grade school. We had so much fun during the session not only because Olivia has a great personality but also an interest in photography. I'm sure she loved watching all the crazy things I do to get a great shot! I am excited that she is an ambassador for our studio!

Stick together

I love to take photos for the girls from Nerinx. Since I also went to school there it is fun to talk about how things have changed and all the things that are still the same. Melissa was excited to have her photos taken with us since her first senior session experience wasn't that great. After we were done I ask if she had fun and she said that it was way more fun here then anywhere else. Remember Nerinx girls we will credit your sitting fee from another studio to your order if you would prefer to come here...give us a call!

Smiles and Laughter

Courtney and Andy had so much fun in their engagement session. They thought all my jokes were just so funny....thanks for laughing! It was a great end to a very busy week last week to have a couple that was so easy to work with and enjoyed being together. Their wedding is going to be perfect and I am happy that I am going to be a part of it!

A walk in the park

I enjoy adding the special loved one in the family to engagement sessions. Stew enjoyed his walk in the park on Saturday while Scott, Chrissie and I melted in the sun! I would have loved to put my dogs into my engagement session but sometimes she would rather run in circles than sit for a picture. So I am glad I can make it happen for someone else. It is only a few short months until Scott and Chrissie's wedding and I'm excited to work with them again.

All Star Fun

In town for the All Star Game, what a perfect time to get a family portrait. And thank to the great art around St. Louis we were able to have fun and get a few shots with one of the Archs in Forest Park. Luckly we got everything before the rain, but it was such a nice morning to be outside that I'm sure everyone had fun at the zoo after our session!

Welcome Evan

Congratulations to Rick and Amanda on their beautiful baby, Evan. He held out on the smiles at first but we got a few in the end. I couldn't resist taking a picture of his sad face when he looked directly at me. He was much happier in mom and dad's arms so we got some really great family shots. I am always excited to see the families of our wedding couples. I am looking forward to seeing Evan grow over the years.

Let it ride!

Lauren is a true model! When we got to the park and I saw the mustang she brought for photos I was so happy I had the opportunity to photograph her. I gave her a pose and she instantly put herself in that position...only better than what I did! It will be so hard for her to pick out her favorite pictures because they are all so great. Good job Lauren:)

Go Cards!

I was very happy to see Christina wearing her Cardinals gear when we went to the park for photos. I knew exactly where we should go! She was very lucky to have such a great day outside for photos. The break in the heat was amazing. Mom and sister were along to support her and we all had a blast together!

Brotherly Love

It is always so nice to see three brothers that love each other so much. We were working on Brendan's 1 year portraits and his brothers, Keegan and Aiden, were so happy to help us get a great smile. Photos of the three boys was fun too because they enjoyed being near each other. Mom has her hands full with these guys!
