Let's Wrestle

Chase always makes me laugh! This time he came into the studio with a word in mind that would make him smile, nothing else would work but the secret word. Lucky for me he told me the word was banana. We talked about orange bananas, pickle bananas and even banana people! During the session he was happy to show me his muscles that he got from football and wrestling. I wouldn't mess with him, he's a tough guy! We took a couple photos with his sister but I knew that Chase would rather have everyone paying attention to just him! See you next time Chase.

The Boys

I haven't seen David and Sean in a couple years so it was great to see them again. They have been so busy starting high school and getting involved in school activities that they haven't had a chance to get a family photo. The Jewel Box is a great place to go if you are looking for some greenery in the wintertime. Lots of different spots in just one small area! The boys did very well and I could see that they keep mom on her toes, all three of them! The family has so much fun together that it makes it a snap to get great photos. I hope to see them again soon.

Andrew and his smiles!

We got a few smiles out of Andrew when he was in town with his parents over the Christmas holiday. We really enjoy seeing our wedding couples come back with the kids, even if they live out of town! Andrew wasn't too sure about the whole process at first but he warmed up to us pretty quick and then started his flirty smile. We had to work fast because after about 15 minutes there was nothing that was going to make him laugh. He had enough of our "silly stuff"! He was just so calm and relaxed the rest of the session and we got some great photos of his cute little cubby cheeks! We hope he has the chance to come visit us again the next time he comes in town.

Jaxon

Jaxon did such a great job of staying awake during his very first photo shoot at 2 weeks old. Mommy was still getting use to how babies will pretty much just lay in whatever position you want as long as you are patient. We were very excited to grab a quick shot of him on his belly because this was the first time he ever laid that way! We look forward to photographing Jaxon for many more years and watching him grow!

Eddie and Megan

What a great day to enjoy the weather. I had so much fun with Megan and Eddie last week. We found so many great spots for their engagement photos. She just wanted the photos to have the "fall feel" to them and I think we got exactly that with the leaves and grass that has changed color. When they got there she said "I hope you don't mind but we brought a prop" Of course I didn't mind but when she told me it was a pumpkin that said Save The Date I was excited because it was such a cute idea. I know that the wedding will be full of little details that I look forward to capturing.

Love is in the air

I was happy to go out to Montelle Winery with Kerri and Joe for their engagement session. It was a beautiful day and the drive was amazing. We had a great time chatting about the wedding while we wandered the winery grounds. Joe even got a few jokes in there that made both Kerri and I laugh out loud! They also invited some friends down so they could spend the day there and enjoy the view with some great wine. I look forward to the wedding because I know we are going to have so much fun and the wedding party will be having good time! These two are so easy to talk to and just very relaxed with each other, which shows in the photos.

Jessica and Alex

It has been a long time since I have been to Creve Couer park and I was so happy to go with Jessica and Alex because we got some amazing photos. There was quite a bit of walking to get to the other side of the lake but since we took photos the whole way there it wasn't that bad. The colors that they put into the wedding really made everything pop. Orange flowers, shoes and sash on the bridesmaids. Alex even got creative and wore Superman shoes! It was a windy day but the wedding party didn't let that stop them from having a great time. There was even a limbo at the reception. Wishing you two years of laughs and smiles.

Hugh and Dawn

10.10.10 was a perfect day for a wedding! It is always fun to photograph a wedding with only a small amount of guests because you really get to know everyone there. Dawn and Hugh decided to get married on the arch grounds and then take a motercycle ride around downtown. I was surprised to see Dawn hop on in her dress, but they both had a great time. It was also very special to see her daughter as a part of the ceremony, the three of them make a perfect family. Good luck in the future and it is going to be very hard to pick out photos because there are so many great ones!

Brian and Tricia

How exciting to be a part of your friends wedding, I was proud to be a bridesmaid for Brian and Tricia. Lou and Emily had a great time riding on the party bus with the crazy wedding party. We went all over St. Louis and got some really amazing photographs. The most memorable part of the day for me was when Brian teared up watching Tricia come down the isle. I think he got all the bridesmaids going after that! It was an amazing day and I look forward to being friends with these two and watching their love grow over the years.

Family Ties

We have been photographing people from the McGraw family for about 5 years now. It all started with Erin and her two kids and then we just did her sister Caitlin's wedding and now we have photographed their brother Brian's family. It is amazing to be such a big part of this family because everyone is so wonderful to work with and we have a great time everytime we get together for a session.
You would never know that Declan missed his nap by all of the smiles he gave us. And Connell was such a great big brother trying to help us get the perfect family photo. We look forward to many more memories with the McGraw family!

Caitlin and David

We knew that Caitlin and David were going to have a beautiful wedding, but what we didn't know is how hot is was going to be. Everyone were troopers as we walked around Forest Park to get the perfect shots for this happy couple. Despite the dove release not going quite as planned...they wouldn't come out of the box, everything else was wonderful. It was cute to hear the story of Caitlin and David meeting during the ceremony and to be there for all of the special moments at the reception. We are always happy to work with this family and look forward to all the memories in the future.
