Tricia and Brian

I am so happy that I was able to take photos of Brian and Tricia. We met about 3 years ago when Brian started working with my husband. The four of us have become close friends and I am so happy we can be a part of their wedding day. Of course they had to pick the hottest day of the year so far to do photos, but we had fun anyway! I know the wedding is going to be fabulous and I'm excited to stand by Tricia's side as she marries her love! They are truly perfect for each other and I look forward to many more years of friendship!

Saturday Sun

When we work with so many different people we really get to know the families and the children. It is so funny to see three kids from the same family with such different personalities. They really make the sitting fun and keep us on our toes. Thanks to dad for eating leaves, grass and who knows what else to make the kids laugh. We really got some great shots!

Stacy and Chris

Stacy couldn't wait to see the look on Chris' face as she came down the aisle on Saturday. He said "She would be beautiful no matter what!" --and he was right. Stacy was all smiles...all day and wouldn't let anything like a rain shower ruin her perfect day. Stacy and Chris dodged the raindrops for a great afternoon in some of the city's best photo locations!

Day at the Winery

Kelly and Chris were in such good spirits about the rain on their wedding day. We all wanted them to have great outdoor photos in the beautiful winery but the rain was just not letting that happen. The chapel was decorated so wonderful and the ceremony was moved inside. After all the family photos were taken we went outside to see the rain had stopped. We were able to get amazing photos in the vineyards and even had time to stop by the local brewery on the way to the reception. It worked out perfectly and we were so happy that Kelly and Chris were just willing to make everything work on their wedding day. Congrats, everything was perfect!

Precious First Moments

We love to hear from our wedding couples when they have a baby. And we get even more excited when they want us to capture every moment! Gavin was only 7 days old when he had his first photo session and he was a perfect subject. He was wide awake to begin the session and then we got some great sleeping photos. It's a lot of work having your photo taken when you are only 7 days old. We look forward to creating more photos of Gavin over the years and can't wait to see his personality shine!

Angie and Andy

Can you imagine a better place to take your engagement photos then the actual place you got engaged!! Andy got down on one knee on a cold day last winter because he knew Angie was the girl for him. We even recreated the moment during the session at City Garden...of course I'm sure the reaction was a bit different. It was a great day to get out and play in the park. I'm glad we did the engagement photos outdoors because these two are totally willing to do some of the wedding photos outside - IN JANUARY! The contrast will look great from engagement to wedding! Find your hats, gloves and snow boots and we will meet you outside next year:)

Windy Wonderland

Despite the wind Brian and Tara had a fantastic wedding. The sun was shining and everyone was ready to have a good time. The bright colors looked great against the greenery of the outdoor wedding at the Botanical Gardens! We had so many places to take photos in the garden but we had to get down to the arch grounds for some classic St. Louis shots. We also made a quick stop to Forest park and everyone was such a good sport about the fountains blowing water on them during the photos. "It's like being at sea world" one of the groomsmen stated. Even though we were cold from the wind and the water the bus had to stop for some Ted Drews! A trip to get ice cream that we will never forget;)
Thanks for the great time,
Rachel and Emily

Laura and Adam

Such a great day from start to finish. Adam and Laura were ready to have a good day and we did just that on Saturday. Actually we had a fantastic day going all over St. Louis to get awesome wedding photos. When we arrived at the house in the morning we could tell that these two had an urban and contemporary style. They were up for trying anything and had a great time doing it. We would have to say that they were perfectly calm before the wedding...it must have been because they know they are perfect for each other:) Congrats to Adam and Laura and thank for keeping the rain away and enjoying your wedding!
