Caitlin and David

I was so excited to hear that Erin's sister was getting married! We have been doing photos for Erin's kids since they were born and she was happy to tell her sister all about us when she got engaged. Caitlin is going to be a fabulous bride, she is such a great person and so easy to talk to. David started out the session a bit quiet but once a bird tried to attack his head (three times!) he started to just relax and have fun with the day. David, at least you didn't have to wear a turtle neck to this session! We were all unsure about the rain when we got up in the morning but by the time we were ready to go it was a bright sunny day! Perfect luck for this perfect couple. Looking forward to the wedding in August.

Katie and Eric

When Katie got engaged one of the first things her mom said was "you better call and book Ravetta's" We have done a few weddings for her family and we were very excited to work with Katie! She made us laugh all day because she just kept saying she wanted to have a wedding everyday because it was like living in a fairytale. We are so happy we were able to capture this fairytale for Katie and Eric. They were a blast to work with all day and had lots of rain back ups for photos - which we needed! It is going to be so hard for them to select their favorites because we can't even narrow it down!

Lisa and Joe

Such a loving couple and ready to deal with anything that is thrown their way! Lisa and Joe were excited about getting photos in Forest Park on their wedding day, but when Joe and the boys went there to get ready to meet the girls that morning he knew that photos in the park were pretty much impossible. There were lots of events going on and boy scouts all over! So we quickly came up with the idea to head to another park and then downtown for photos. Lisa was excited and happy to do photos anywhere as long as Joe was ready to meet her there. They enjoyed a moment to themselves when they first saw each other and then were ready to get the party started with the wedding party. When we got to the church the wedding before them was still finishing up so we had to start about 20 minutes late! Again this just proved that these two are able to work together and just make things happen. This group had a great time and we were happy to be a part of their day!

Michelle and Michael

Michelle and Michael had spectacular weather for their perfect day in St. Louis. The bus driver drove at 15-20 mph the entire day to accommodate the partying and dancing that was going on before the reception. We visited the Arch grounds and Busch Stadium where the wedding party had fun in front of the camera.
Michelle and all of her beautiful sisters attended to her every need as well as making sure Dad knew where to go and what to do next! Michael got in the photo groove about halfway through the day when he realized it was painless.
We enjoyed sharing the day with this couple and their caring families as they became one!

Kelly and Stephen

We will be talking about the awesome wedding of Kelly and Stephen for a long time. Everything was so beautiful and came together perfectly! The wedding was planned down to the very last detail of the bridesmaids shoes, a perfectly fitting dress, wonderful centerpieces at the reception and a surprise horse and carriage to whisk away the happy couple at the end of the night. We are so glad that we were able to create photos of this magical day!

Jessica and Alex

Living out of town and planning a wedding in St. Louis makes it crazy when Jessica and Alex come in town. They were able to squeeze in some time to get engagement photos taken. I'm very excited about the wedding in October. Alex and Jessica are so nice and easy to work with, it doesn't hurt that they are loving and fun with each other too! I hope they were able to get in a bit more relaxing while they were here.
