Baby Brooke

I can't believe it is time for my friends to start having babies. I am so happy for Mark and Melinda! We have been waiting for Brooke's arrival for 9 long months and she decided to join us on July 4th! Maybe that is to show us how independent she is going to be:) It was an honor to take photos of the family and sweet Brooke. She was in a pretty good mood and we got lots of great shots. I am so excited to see her grow up - I just hope I don't spoil her too much!

Tim and Bridget

I was very happy to be a part of Tim and Bridget's wedding. The family has been looking forward to it for months and now Bridget is my sister-in-law. Tim seemed a bit nervous when he was about to see Bridget for the first time but once he saw her he just lit up and couldn't stop smiling. He couldn't believe she was wearing make-up. Usually these two can be found biking, hiking or some other sort of outdoor activity that doesn't require getting all fancied up. We found some fun spots around St. Louis to take photos before the wedding and even got a chance to relax a bit. I was very excited to go to the reception because it was the first reception I have ever done at the Palladium. It is a very beautiful place and I look forward to going back soon.
Congrats and I am excited for some nieces and nephews sometime soon:)

Baby on the way

I was so excited to hear from Mary and Keary when she called to set up a pregnancy session. They were a wonderful couple to work with at their wedding and I look forward to watching their son Danny grow up. Mary was willing to try anything and was such a sport when I had her get in to the poses and blew a fan in her face. I could see the joy and excitement on Keary's face each time we talked about his son. I know Danny is going to have such a loving family!

Kara and Rich

Kara and Rich were so much fun on their wedding day. We tried to stay cool while at the park on a day that was over 100 degrees, but once we got down to the arch grounds we found a wind pocket that made everyone happy. The entire day was a party from start to finish and everyone had such a great time. Even with a bit of a dress problem in the morning Kara was calm and ready to get married and spend the rest of her life with Rich. These two even had a bit of karaoke at the reception which just added to the wonderful day!
Congrats!

Amy and David

We couldn't wait for Amy and David's wedding. The engagement photos were so much fun and we have done a wedding for this family the past two summers! We found a great wind tunnel down by the arch to cool everyone off during photos. Amy had her dress custom made and on the top of the list was pockets! Dresses with pockets are so much fun and really add to the casual look of the wedding photos. The details of the wedding were perfect from the jewelry to the amazing table decor at the reception. Amy and David are perfect for each other and we know Amy will make sure everything is organized for the rest of their lives!
