Happy Rain

Shooting Stephanie and John's wedding was very special because Stephanie is a good friend of mine and together her and John are amazing! It may have been a rainy Friday afternoon but the smile on their faces shined through all day long as we took photos. After a beautiful ceremony we headed downtown where the rain finally stopped just in time for some pics outside Union Station. I hope you all love your photos just as much as I enjoyed sharing this day with you and your family!

City Rebel

It was such a blast to hangout and shoot Maddy's senior photos not only because she practically posed herself and "worked the camera" but because she has such a fun and energetic personallity. After a few photos in the studio it was her idea to head downtown for some gritty urban pics. She was the one who found this amazing yellow door too so you know we had to take a photo with it! I'm sure she will enjoy her photos!

Family Ties

Melissa and Kevin dodged the golf balls as we photographed their wedding between the holes on the golf course. They are a great couple "beaming" with love for each other and for their girls Lexi and Kayla.
Thanks girls, for the great poses and cooperation. Kevin's dad managed to keep grandpa in the golf cart...this time at least! We had a great time and so glad they chose us to share their day!

The Power of Love

You don't need money, don't take fame
Don't need no credit card to ride this train
It's strong and it's sudden and it's cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That's the power of love

Stephanie and Matt definitely have the power of love! They share many interests and are willing to try new things together. Now with their son Emmett they have plenty of opportunity to share new and exciting experiences as a married couple. Back to the Future is a movie special to them and they used the lyrics to The Power of Love as the reading during the ceremony. It really helped bring a special touch to everything. Such a beautiful day - the rain held out and we even saw a bit of sun right as they said I DO! We had a great time with these two playing in the vineyards at Wine Country Gardens. The wedding party were a riot and kept us laughing all day. It would have been nice to stick around and party with everyone, but we had to get home.

Urban Escape

Kelly and Kyle really wanted something unique and urban for the engagement session. I decided that we were going to make a few stops downtown to get exactly what they wanted. Kelly told Kyle that he is going to have to practice his smile for the wedding day. I assured her that it would be fine because he will be very happy that day and have tons of friends around to make him laugh. They both did a great job with the poses and knew exactly what looked great without me telling them. I had a great time even though we were rushing to catch the light during the whole session. However after I told them we were done I turned around to see an amazing sunset and had to take another shot!

Go Cards!

Katie and Rodney are two wonderful people and they were meant for each other. They are both huge Cardinals fans and worked that into the wedding in a very elegant way. Red was the color, the table "numbers" were all Cardinals players, we went to the stadium for some photos and to top it all off they entered on a red rickshaw! Too cute:) Despite a small section of the day when the Rodney and his best man had to ride in my car it was a perfect summer day. They got super lucky on the cooler weather and of course they are lucky to now be married. Enjoy each moment and get out to some Cards games as a married couple now!!
